What's your season?
Now I’ve talked about this before, what’s your favourite season in terms of dressing. I am definitely not a Summer person, I love the cooler weather and I prefer dressing for the cooler weather and I know I look better in my cooler weather garb. (If you look back some of my postings you’ll know what I mean) Yesterday Sydney was hot and humid, it was gross. In saying that,...

The life of a Mother My son had his swimming carnival on today out in Woop Woop. Aussie slang for a suburb that is far away, but it wasn’t as far away as where the Elephants go to die. That place is called Homebush where all the major sporting venues are located…I’ll be there in two weeks time for my daughter’s Interschool Swim Competition meet. She’ll be competing...

Faux pas - and when enough said is enough said.
Today, Mr Smith and I ventured back into Chiodo after coffee. Well, one of the sales staff proceeded to tell me what my Brother bought and that he had also ordered a ‘Chiodo multi button shirt’ - which is only ‘Made to Order’ after which I said to him ‘I think you must be confusing that shirt with one that I looked at late last year but changed my mind at the last...

Sibling love
The love between siblings is very complicated. I love how my son describes his sisters kindness towards him. “It’s very rare and when she offers it, you have to hold onto it tightly” It’s quite sweet and disconcerting at the same time - however there lies the complexity of siblings and their affection towards each other. Year of the Dragon
Happy New Year Year of the Dragon The last 12 years have passed by so quickly. The year 2000 was significant in that we clocked into a new millenium and the computers all still worked, Sydney hosted the Olympics, and I was pregnant with my first child. We can hope the next 12 years will be just as exciting for everyone. For me, this year will hold special significance for many reasons.
