Faux pas - and when enough said is enough said.
Today, Mr Smith and I ventured back into Chiodo after coffee.
Well, one of the sales staff proceeded to tell me what my Brother bought and that he had also ordered a ‘Chiodo multi button shirt’ - which is only ‘Made to Order’ after which I said to him ‘I think you must be confusing that shirt with one that I looked at late last year but changed my mind at the last minute’ He then continued to protest and say no no no, your brother did order it.
Anyhow, we left the store, and I was a bit miffed that I couldn’t look in peace.
On returning home I saw my brother and proceeded to tell him all about the store experience and yada yada yada the button shirt yada yada yada. Guido started to look cranky, but I figured he was just empathising with me.
Well……
Turns out, my darling brother ordered the shirt for me as a gift from my children.
